This kitchen is a recent installation in the Horsham area that has been designed by George Harvey from our Horsham Showroom. This kitchen utilises German manufactured Nobilia furniture from the touch range. The touch range is a matt range that actually uses what Nobilia call a supermatt finish, this gives the door a true matt finish that is almost silky to touch. The lacquered laminate coating on the touch door means that unlike most matt effect doors it is highly resistant to fingerprints and other marks.
The touch doors in this kitchen have been used in Nobilia’s Line N handleless option to maximise the modern style that the touch door brings to a kitchen. As with any handleless kitchen a handrail must be used to allow access to cupboards, the slate grey handrail used for this kitchen contrasts really well with the Alpine white door fronts. Nobilia’s own range of laminate worktops have been used in again in the slate grey shade to complement the door fronts in this kitchen.
A unique feature of this kitchen is the built-in bottle rack, which can hold up to eight bottles and is a great solution for storing red wine at a suitable temperature and angle. Another great design feature for this kitchen is the display area which is a great use of space for both showcasing decorations and also for storing crockery. The cabinets above use Nobilia grey glass cabinet fronts which add another complementary texture to this kitchen.
One of the most impressive aspects of this kitchen is the Bora cooktop extractor. This cooktop extractor uses a powerful inbuilt extraction system to remove cooking residue from the room. The particular cooktop extractor used in this kitchen also uses an exhaustion system to extract residue to the external of the property. The innovative design of this cooktop extractor also means that up to four large pans can be used at any one time, while also removing the need for an often-inconvenient overhead extractor.
Other appliances in the kitchen are all from German manufacturer Neff. A Neff N50 American style fridge freezer has been used to add to both the kitchen aesthetic and the extensive storage that features in this kitchen. A fully integrated dishwasher also makes an appearance in this kitchen, which is unnoticeable until opened, helping to keep a clean kitchen dynamic. A Neff slide & hide oven is also used which sits below a Neff combination microwave both utilising CircoTherm technology.
This kitchen also makes use of a German engineered Blanco sink, which is one of their more premium sinks from the Silgranite range. A Silgranite sink is manufactured with up to eighty percent granite making the sink itself highly resistant to scratching and staining. The range of Silgranite sinks are available in a stunning range of colours which are a striking addition to any kitchen. This kitchen also features a stand-out Eastbrook radiator, a stunning finishing touch to this kitchen.
There was also extensive building work undertaken for this project, including removing two walls, fittings two steel joists and a complete replastering. This kitchen is a great example of the internal building work we can undertake.
